Wright Risk Management, a respected insurance management company, offers WRM America a wide body of knowledge and years of experience to draw from. Wright Risk Management has been providing underwriting, claims and risk management services to schools and municipalities for more than 25 years.

WRM America offers a comprehensive program of property and casualty insurance coverages and services for K-12 private independent schools, public schools (outside of New York State) and accredited colleges and universities. Initially, we will work primarily with educational institutions east of the Mississippi. Ultimately, we plan to offer our unique, proven and efficient approaches to specialty insurance nationwide.

Who is Wright Risk Management?

Wright Risk Management is an insurance management company that began operations in 1978. Among many other accomplishments, Wright Risk Management created the New York Schools Insurance Reciprocal ("NYSIR") in 1989, and the New York Municipal Insurance Reciprocal ("NYMIR") in 1993.   Wright Risk Management has continuously provided underwriting, marketing, claims and litigation management, risk management, information technology, statutory accounting and all administrative services for these carriers since their inception. NYSIR is one of the most successful school insurance companies in the country serving approximately 50% of the eligible public schools in New York. Equally successful, NYMIR provides specialized insurance coverage to approximately 600 municipalities in suburban and upstate New York. With Wright Risk Management's proven management expertise supporting them, NYSIR and NYMIR have enjoyed retention rates in the mid-to-high ninety-percent range. These insurance companies are rated AM Best "A" and "A-" respectively.
